Citi Open 2014: Grand Marnier Craft Happy Hour

On Friday evening, Citi Open attendees were invited to indulge in happy hour while waiting for the start of the night session.

Cameron Thaney with Lagardere Unlimited, the sports agency that operates the Citi Open, explained that the spirited event is in its first year. The happy hour was designed to serve as a creative way to highlight Grand Marnier and Kappa Pisco's sponsorship of the Citi Open.

According to Thaney, the tournament partnered with Restaurant Associates DC to invite five restaurants down to the grounds to create specialty craft cocktails featuring Grand Marnier and Kappa Pisco. Attendees were then invited to sample the drinks and vote on their favorite.

At the end of the night, Cuba Libra DC's Putaway Punch was declared the winning cocktail.

US Open 2018: Welcome Back & New Logo

Well...it's been 2 years hasn't it. That's what heading to grad school will do to a person. Sometimes the axiom, 'the more things change, the more they stay the same,' rings true. But sometimes, as with the case of the US Open's new logo, one steps away, and comes to find that things have gone completely awry. Is this Arial font? Are these letters lower case?
